My Crepey Arms Story That's Crepey, Not Creepy (although crepey is a little creepy!)
January 2012: We all have a body part or parts that just stand out and we've gotta work it and show them off, right?! My arms and back used to be those body parts for me. Even in my mid forties I was ask quite often if I was a swimmer, because my arms and back were so toned. I wore a lot of sleeveless and backless clothes back then to show it off. Salsa dancing was big for me in my early forties and it was fun to show everyone that a forty something year old could still rock it!
When I was about 46 I injured my shoulder doing a plank exercise that I had no business doing. A few days later my husband had a chiropractic appointment scheduled and I went with him. We knew this fella pretty well so I mentioned what I had done to my shoulder. He showed me how to tape it down so it wouldn't be so painful while it healed. Wow, did that help....but little did I know, doing that was the worse thing I could have done because it restricted movement. Within a week I had a frozen shoulder that took over two painful years to heal. I could literally not raise my arm above my waist. My husband had to blow dry my hair at first until I could figure out how to do it on my own! It was a very long road back to being able to lift my arms above my head. Good thing doing facials doesn't require my arms to be up high. I was still able to work, although my arms would be screaming by the end of the day.
During that two years I could do absolutely nothing as far as exercise for my upper body. I lost all of my muscle tone! Which is not easy to get back when you're in your late forties. I'm now 51 and believe you me, it gets harder and harder to get that muscle back!
Okay Shelley, get to the crepey arm part of the story! Besides losing the muscle tone, my arms started to look crepey. Yuck! I could live with the poor muscle tone but not that crepey look. No way. So, I spoke with my friend Louise that makes the Sol Basio firming products and begged her to make something to help me with my crepey arm syndrome. She did and I'll be forever grateful. Love you Louise! She made me a firming body lotion that I spray on my arms every day when I get out of the shower. Then I take just 15 seconds to rub it in. It's been about three weeks now and I see a significant difference! I may even wear a sleeveless outfit tomorrow. Oh yeah, it's the middle of Winter. Okay, so come Spring my arms will be bare for all to see!!
Another way we will are using this spray is at the end of our infrared body treatments. We keep it in the refrigerator and then spray the client down after she gets out of the blanket....the cool spray feels really good!
If you make this product available to your clients, they will love you forever! You could even offer crepey arm treatments! Perhaps a nicer name would make it more enticing though! If you have the FSD, use it first and then massage in the firming lotion or do a microderm then the lotion. If you have the RejuvenAir oxygen infusion machine, you can infuse the lotion after you exfoliate!!! BEAUTIFUL!

1/16/2012: This morning I had a client that had purchased the firming spray at her last appointment four weeks ago. She told me that she has been spraying her neck and chest everyday after her shower and that she love it and sees a big difference....that's what I'm talkin' about!
1/20/2012: The feedback is starting to roll in! A client in her late 60's came in yesterday. She purchased a bottle four weeks ago. First thing she said when she walked through the door was "look at my neck"....yes, there was a significant difference! She purchased another bottle! Also an email came in from an Esty that puchased. She's using it on her thighs and decollatage...she see a difference!
