Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice: Besides its ability to help replenish and retain moisture in the skin, aloe may also support the production of hyaluronic acid, collagen, and elastin fibers in the skin—all of which are necessary to keep skin hydrated, firm, and supple, which decline naturally with age. Applying aloe vera topically has been shown to help restore skin elasticity and decrease the appearance of fine lines. 

Matrixyl 3000:  Is made of palmitoyl oligopeptide and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7, two peptides—or amino acids that make up proteins in the skin—which communicate with the skin. Licorice Root Extract:  Licorice root extract is a multi-functional ingredient that provides several benefits. The extract’s primary active components include the glycosides glycyrrhizin and glycyrrhetinic acid, triterpene saponins, and flavonoids. Research demonstrates that licorice root extract has great potential as a soothing ingredient. Other studies have found that licorice root extract has skin-lightening effects. These effects are from the compounds liquiritin and isoliquertin, a flavonoid containing glycosides which promote skin lightening by decreasing melanin production.

Lactic Acid:  Lactic acid is naturally produced during the bacterial fermentation of milk. Lactic Acid works by gently breaking down the material that holds onto dead skin cells, causing a gentle chemical exfoliation to reveal healthier-looking skin. While generally gentle and hydrating, Lactic Acid may be irritating for sensitive skin types in concentrations over 10%. Palmitoyl Oligopeptide:  Is an engineered amino-peptide that when added to a culture of fibroblasts (key skin cells), supports collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycans production. These are the key components of healthy-looking skin. Clinically proven to reduce wrinkle depth by supporting hyaluronic acid and collagen production, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide (PO) is a synthetic protein that is a fragment of collagen combined with palmitic acid to make it more lipophilic, to improve its stability and to enhance its affinity towards human skin.

Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7:  Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 is a type of synthetic peptide compound which combines several chains of amino acids to soothe the skin. This peptide compound is also believed to support the regeneration of collagen fibers in the dermis. It is mainly used in anti-aging products for its ability to lighten skin, improve skin elasticity and reduce the appearance of uneven skin tones.

Soy Rice Peptide:  Soy-Rice peptides are short strings of amino acids derived from soy protein.  Clinical studies have shown the effect of soy-rice peptides to significantly reduce the appearance of dark circles & puffiness around the eyes.
