• The device will not work properly without a conductive product. Also, you must have your hand touching the client to close the current! Red lights will show when this is done properly. When using on yourself the unit automatically grounds itself. There is nothing you need to do.

Many years ago, I was testing a handheld RF unit. It worked differently than the RF Collagen Booster in that it used a pulse instead of movement. I read the instructions, and it started to do one pulse and then move to the next area. Me being who I am, (😊) I wanted to see what would happen if I did two or three pulses in one area. Remember, RF is heating the tissue below the surface, so you don’t really feel much heat while doing the treatment. It’s only slightly warm. I pulsed between my eyebrows three times. Nothing. I barely felt a thing. I thought to myself, well that’s no big deal. But….the next morning when I looked in the mirror, I had small blisters in that area!! The moral of my story is that it’s working even though we’re not feeling a lot of heat. Please always keep this unit in motion!!

Estheticians, you are responsible for making sure RF is legal in your state. It’s a strange thing that it may not be legal for you to use it in treatment, but you can sell it to a client. The public is purchasing all sorts of equipment online with no help from a professional. It would make me feel much more comfortable that if they want RF, that they are getting it from you, and you are tutoring them!
